In August, the director of Steeple Concerts, Mark Hyczko, called me with a terrifying proposal — could I completely overhaul their brand and website just 11 days before their new season launch? We worked together to create a new logo, brand package, print materials for their 2025-2026 season, and a new responsive website that could match that cohesive branding and help Steeple Concerts step into a new era.

Logo Design

Using the reference of St. Paul’s steeple and some of the spirit of the original logo, I created a new logo that could work with all of their materials and in all of their new brand colors.

I really wanted to not just have a generic logo, but one that would tie in to the incredible history of the space where each performance is held. So pulling in a silhouette of the actual steeple was a super important part of the process.

Steeple Concerts needed something that was both traditional to represent the space, and new to represent their diverse and compelling performance series.

Branding

It was really important that the branding be cohesive from every perspective — whether that was print materials, email newsletter, social media, web design, favicon, e-commerce/ticketing, or letterhead.

To create this brand, I started from the colors they were already using — particularly one blue reminiscent of the Episcopal hymnal. Building out from there by staying in line with the bold, new & emerging artist feeling of the concert series, I wanted colors that would represent that high-contrast of the concert series itself — new & experimental performances combined with traditional space and repertoire.

Website Overhaul

Steeple Concerts needed a website where concert-goers could easily purchase tickets to concerts and events, find directions, donate to their concert series, and display both current and past season information. With this new, more bold aesthetic and a clear design vision, we were able to bring both form and function to their already-existing Squarespace website.

Print Marketing

For Steeple Concerts print marketing strategy, we focused on a trifold brochure, poster series, and postcard-size flyer, each aligned with the style and spirit of the redesign.

Digital Marketing

Steeple Concerts also needed digital marketing products including a new logo for Facebook, appropriate and brand-cohesive season imagery, and new email templates that could fit a variety of circumstances and newsletter needs.
